Domaining is like a marriage. You don’t walk down the aisle, say,“I do,” close your eyes, and hope it will work out for the next 40 years.
Rather, each day you must recommit to making your relationship work. That’s right: there’s actually work to be done.
It’s the same thing in domain business. You must continually recommit to the field and reinvent yourself along the way, and keep your focus tight for reaching your Next Level.
When you consistently look at your goals every 30 days, especially in a group with other domainers, you suddenly develop a sense of urgency.
You will stop postponing things off because you know you must be accountable to others in your group who expect to see you move your goals forward and because you are continually cautioned about your commitments.
You can invest your time. It’s like investing in stocks or bonds. You can invest one hour of your time and get back great results. For example, when you’re in the office, you can answer pending e-mails, return phone calls, clean your desk etc.
What would be the best return on your time investment? the point is, start to look at your time as a valuable commodity.
Invest it as you would invest in stocks or bonds as you would invest in anything that would give you a positive return on your investment.
