What is domain name expiration process.
1. Pre-Release Domain Names
Domain name which has not been renewed by its expiration date, is usually put on auction by the domain registrar to be sold to the highest bidder in open auction.
The “pre-release” status of a domain name is derived from the action of setting it up for sale before it goes back to the registry.
If the domain is not sold at the “pre-release stage, it gets dropped and can be possibly back-ordered by anyone.
